Amicorum is the newest approach towards the ticket sale industry. Based on Blockchain technology, it is a safe, transparent and zero transaction fee charging platform for the ticket re-sale industry, eradicating transaction costs, fraud and authorises ticket buyers.
The process is pretty simple. The buyer searches for the event. The available tickets are displayed in the sequence of their relevance, cost and other characters. The buyer can buy the ticket at the price listed in AMI tokens. If the buyer does not have AMI Tokens in their wallet, they can buy the tokens real time from the exchange and transfer them to their wallet. Once the buyer confirms transaction and the network confirms hash transaction, the ticket will be automatically listed under the account of the buyer and tokens will be transferred to the seller. So, there is no third party involvement to handle the exchange and no transaction charges from these parties. The platform will not show that ticket or order under the new list of re-sale tickets.
The platform regulates all business processes linked to listing, sale, re-sale, token redemption, rewards and redemption of the tickets as well as the distribution of the funds related with each sale. Each transaction will be given a reward in AMI Tokens and transferred during confirmation of purchase and sale of tickets.
Decentralized validation, redundancy, immutable storage and encryption are the main fundamental features on which the platform is built. The secondary tickets market is prophesied to show significant growth during the years 2016-2020 globally and is influenced by the increase in the number of festivals and concert events. The common case happens when the same ticket is sold to 10-15 enthusiasts or even more. The first ticket holder to arrive, attends the concert/festival and the rest are not allowed access.
