Overview:
It is a decentralized blockchain based application which maintains all health records and provides customized diet and incentivises the users to be fit and gives preventive recommendations using artificial intelligence. It has won the HULT prize in 2014, only Indian team to win this prize and successfully raised $1 Million fund from HULT Prize.

Challenges:
With the increase in the income has changed the life style of many people in current generation, people are not taking care of their health, surveys saying in the past 10 years deaths happened due to non-communicable diseases (diabetes, asthma, heart disease) are more than communicable diseases.
One of the major technical issue is lack of accessibility of health records, health data stored in different devices, paper files, ETR (Electronic Health Records). Getting the patient health information at one place is big challenge. Data breaching is major threat to centralized data storage systems.

Solution:
To address the challenges in maintaining health records and prevention of diseases NHCT came up with one stop solution for personized health recommendations based on patient past medical history. Nano HealthCare Token ecosystem is built on the blockchain network. It is serving almost 75,000 lives in last three years. Which is created a network for health service providers and users to offer a total health solution.

Its decentralized storage ensures easy access and maximum efficiency of data available on the network and its distributed ledger technology along with smart contracts which provides security and transparency in the health records.

Naga, is an experienced technology evangelist and blockchain advisor for healthcare, fintech among others. For over two decades, he has been at the core of technology management for product and project implementations. His earlier stints included global organizations like Microsoft, IBM, GE, Xerox and Wipro. He has a Diploma in Management from IIMC and MS(CS) UNB, Canada.

Praveen is a serial entrepreneur, with vast amount of experience in the Indian Startup space. He is known for turning a $2000 investment into a company valued at $4 Million in 36 Months.
