Its founder is Evan Duffield, who first named currency XCoin, later it was renamed DarkCoin, and in early 2015 it was called Digital Cash, which formed the new name Dash. The monthly budget of the self-financing system was almost $ 30,000 by March 2016. 10% of the miners’ extracted Dash are allocated for financing proposals. The remaining 90% are distributed evenly between the Dash miners and the Masternode operators (plus they also have the right to vote).

To run Masternode, the participant must confirm that he has 1000 DASH as collateral. At the same time, the cryptocurrency is not lost anywhere, but remains at the user’s disposal. Due to such features, it is rather difficult to control Masternode in most cases.
