Auction Find - Collectible (scary!!!) Kewpie doll

Kewpie dolls come in all shapes and sizes and can be made of  bisque, composition, celluloid, rubber or plastic. Their sizes are also widely varied. The dolls with the little wings are on the back are more popular. The rubber ones are the most commonly found. I've sold many of them over the years, and I was trawling through some of my older photos and remembered this "black" kewpie doll, that actually sold really quickly. Due to their rarity black kewpie dolls are worth more and if this was not faded it would have been worth around $100. I like the way she looks rather alarming!!!
