"The Lie We Live" is a video written and created by Spencer Cathcart, originally published in January 2015. It received over 26 million views on Youtube, however, a music company put a copyright claim on it over a small portion of background music and it was taken down. Shortly after that, he released a second edit. Today I want to share this video with you as a wake-up call.
It's often the case that alternative news sources provide a much better and unfiltered point of view than the mainstream media. That's why it's important to think critically, especially in critical times like these. I'm not big on conspiracy theories, but I can't just deny the surrounding facts. Humanity needs to wake up from its current dream like state. For better or worse now is the time to act! It's up to us to decide where our future will be heading. If we continue to sit passively in front of a screen all day long, distracted by so many things, we will come to a point where it will be too late to make things right. We are harming Earth, Nature and ourselves. Earth was here long before us and will be here many eons after we vanish. The little time we have on this rock is a gift and we owe it to ourselves and all its children to live in harmony together and find better solutions for the future generations.
