GOLOS, from Russian Sh*t coin to Steemit's only competition?

When GOLOS first forked from Steemit. I like many others was somewhat of a Steemit maximalist. I liked the fact Steemit was the only blockchain social media in town. Similar to Myspace the first time around. Nobody wanted to hear about new upstart Facebook come to take your friends list away to a new platform. I was apprehensive, why not simply do more for other languages on the original chain I thought. Boy was I wrong.

GOLOS I think has taught me the evils of Maximalism, qualified with the word Bitcoin or not maximalism simply means I'm too lazy to adapt please don't make me do a new thing. That is lame and if people had taken that approach I would not be about to make EVEN MORE yuge gains in GOLOS. I first started buying GOLOS at 2 cents. Made some buys at 5 cent and some at 20 cents. I think all of these levels will prove to be excellent buys in the future. Why?

Because GOLOS has fast become more than a fork of a coin. As far as Im concerned GOLOS is its own coin. The fork from Steemit was simply a novel way to create a novel coin. ETC. That is a fork. Zclassic. That is a fork. They do minimal things different from their progenitors. The same could be said for GOLOS but I see the GOLOS community growing to rival Steemit in a hurry why is that not the case for other forks?

Because forks have a psychological investment barrier. If the original is worth x money the fork can''t be worth more than y marketcap. GOLOS can quickly defeat that stigma by acquiring users who maybe have never even heard of Steemit yet. Or have heard of Steemit but live in a Slavic nation. Or have heard of Steemit live in an English speaking nation but want to join on the ground floor rather than floor 3 or 4 where Steemit is now. Russian is the 10th most spoken language and the Russian people are notorious for having their own versions of American made websites. Rather than press Russian language on Facebook. They created Vk.com for example. Currently worth 5 Billion.

Warface is a fun game I play. In Russia Warface is more like a sport. Gaming in general is yuge in Russia and I can't wait until my fellow gamers join me here and use the power of their voices to shout "GOLOS is Great 4 GAMERS ". To the heavens.
