Steemit Over to Acapulco- Volume #1- Reviewing Airfare for Bitcoin and Update

Hello, again, fellow Golos! Welcome to the second post, first in the volume of many highlighting my path to get to Anarchapulco simply by posting on Steemit!

Today's episode, I will be reviewing the following:

How I plan to buy a flight with Steem from my airport to Acapulco,
The timing of my purchase and how I calculate my expenses,
Passport issues
Predictions on cost of flight
My current options

How to buy a flight:
I found a service that accepts bitcoin for airfare at www.abitsky.com. Yesterday when I was browsing, it was around .34 bitcoin for a flight, but thanks to our friends in the Far East, the cheapest flight for me during the last week in February (typically the date of Anarchapulco Conference hosted by thedollarvigilante) the cost fell all the way down to .309bitcoin. I will use Bittrex to convert my Steem to bitcoin and then transfer to my Jaxx mobile wallet (jaxx.io) until the purchase is ready to be made (I rarely keep funds on an exchange). I figure two distributions from what I plan on making through my posts should get me there, which will be timed for 11/19/2017 and 11/26/2017.

The site was pretty user friendly, as the homepage gives you the option to choose departure and arrival locations and dates, and returns instant deals priced in Bitcoin:

So I found my best priced flight below:

The next screen will show you your entry data and get you prepared to purchase:

However, with bitcoin rising, and Steem rising with it, I'm going to hold off (maybe the price will go all the way down to .1 steem by my 89 day early purchase date. If you aren't familiar, www.cheapair.com has the following link to let you know the best times in advance to purchase flights:

This puts me at 11/27/2017 to purchase my flight, give or take a day or two.

Passport issues:
Recommended to all that would like to join me on this blogger's challenge, make sure you get your passport 3 to 6 months before your expected travel date (mine took only 5 weeks to arrive, and you don't wanna throw down another hundred for some company to push you to the front of the line with express service).

I started calculating as of last night when I posted that until enough funds are saved for my trip, I will save all of my steempower and convert all SBD earned into steempower, giving an update each journal entry. So far, none of my posts have paid out, so I just have curation and comment rewards. Here is my worksheet, which was created using Open Office (free software)

So with just making .66 cents worth of Steem, I have a long way to go in the 187 days left that I have to make my flight purchase, while having more time for hotel bookings and other expenses, which can be ordered at a time that will be reviewed in the next episode of STEEMIT OVER TO ACAPULCO!
