Lower gate

Visitors to Domažlice (Czech Republic) can enjoy the rich history of the city during their walks. The most famous monuments include the Lower gate.

The gate is the only preserved part of the original city fortification. It was built in 1231 as a security against Bavors. The gate was built only in the sixties of the 13th century.
