Today when I woke up the first thing that came to my mind was his sentence, this reminded me of so many other things in my life, inspired by these memories I wrote these words.

Living is a constant choice, it makes you go through life making decisions, there are certain situations that leave you no other option but to accept them As they are, something that can not be chosen is the family and the resources they have for your well-being. This is the inheritance that you receive at the birth of your parents, without doing things well, you will surely inherit a good welfare.

In this aspect life was not very generous, I am not judging my parents if they did things right or wrong, I received without judging or drawing conclusions, on more than one occasion I was grateful to be born in a humble home. As the popular saying says: "There is no harm that does not come well"!

These words were the ones that motivated me to work since I was a child, 40 years ago I do it, I have not reached my final goal, I struggle daily to reach it, a large part of my life I work under a dependency relationship, not to mention all my lifetime.

The year in which my manager promoted me to the race, it was a year of many promotions, we presented 60 postulants and only had to be 10, for my part I had a lot of confidence, in the position that I played, I knew that I was the best, I think This was the great mistake of my career, to have believed that I was the best, in that I was very well trained for the position where I worked, but not for what was to come.

At the beginning of the pre-selection, we presented the 60 applicants, we started a series of works, many were associated in groups of 10, for my part I chose to work alone and not to team up with anyone.

Mrs. Laura began to see the evolutions of the people, for this I ordered them by score, which put me in position 40, to keep this position I was out of the race, this discouraged me a lot, for the next evaluation I was in position 60, this caught Laura's attention

The lady requested that we meet at the end of the day, at the beginning of the meeting she received a phone call , the news was not good, the husband was hospitalized urgently, the news did not fall well to Laura, I noticed and I offered to accompany her to the sanatorium, at first she refused at the end she accepted my company.

It was a very busy afternoon, and luckily I was there to help her with some of her social work, when everything was over and she was in the waiting room, she spoke to me like a mother.

He recommended that I buy a self-help book to raise my self esteem, the book is called "The power is in you Isabel Allende", that same night I bought the book and began reading, without knowing how, my bad evaluations came to My old boss, as expected, summoned me to a meeting, the question was happening, I saw that in a short time he had changed a lot, my self-esteem was low, we talked for a long time at the end he said goodbye.

I finished reading the book in less than a week, my self considered change completely, I began to improve in the qualifications, finally I qualified in the tenth position, it can be interpreted that it was a good grade, to be in the tenth place among 60 people.

The truth that it was not like that, for the managers you were the worst average among ten, I had to work very hard hard to change that image in the directors of the company, but in reality that is another story, the story I want to tell is the following.

Within the career and outside the jurisdiction of the consultant, Mrs. Laura approached me and told me what my real mistake was, the first to have believed me the best and second not to have formed a team with other people.
