RECIPE FOR RUSSIAN TEA CAKES COOKIES - 38 Days Left Until Christmas!
Hello Everyone on Golos! It is holiday season here in the USA and these Russian Tea Cakes are delicious to have!
These are one of my favorite cookies as they melt in your mouth and are so easy to make at the same time!
RECIPE for Russian Tea Cake COOKIES
1 C. Real Butter softened
1/2 C. Powdered Sugar
1 Teaspoon
2 !/4 C. All purpose Flour or If Gluten Free use the 1 to 1 Gluten Free Flour
3/4 C. Finely chopped nuts 1/4 Teaspoon Salt
More powdered sugar for rolling it after it comes out of the oven.
Heat oven to 400.
Mix all the butter, powdered sugar and vanilla in a bowl. Add nuts, flour & salt until well formed.
Roll into 1 inch balls, place about 1 inch apart on ungreased non stick cookie sheet.
Bake 10 minutes or until set but not brown- then while still warm, roll them in the powdered sugar.
Lett them cool a few minutes then roll them in sugar again.
