Under a Leafy Tree
Lying on the fresh grass and still wet from the morning dew, I remembered that time as a child, my mother told me that each and every one of the leaves that comprise even the leafiest crown of a tree receives at some time of the day, by minimum that is, the rays of sunlight.
No matter how large the foliage is, the trees ensure, in this way, that each of its leaves receives the necessary light supplement to carry out photosynthesis and generate energy. Thus, the branches that carry the highest buds of the cup, open at different angles to allow the passage of light to the lower buds.
And while the cool breeze of the morning blew through the vegetation making the plants shudder and the warm rays of the sun were just beginning to sneak through the trees, I lay there, admiring these giants inmobiles.
