Anemone coronaria is widely grown for its decorative flowers. There are approximately 150 species of Anemone. These flowers are also commonly called “windflowers”, and this second name is derived from the Greek word which means “the wind’s daughter”. The Anemone can be red, blue, purple or white.

The color blue is the color of trust and responsibility. Blue is one of my favorite colors and the anemone is one of the flowers that find place in my terrace .
