AMD’s 3rd gen Ryzen desktop processors offer better performance than Intel at half the price
At Computex 2019, AMD today revealed its 3rd gen Ryzen desktop processors with improved performance and less power consumption. These new Ryzen processors are based on the new “Zen 2” core that offers up to 15% estimated instructions per clock uplift when compared to previous gen “Zen” architecture. They also feature lager cache sizes and a redesigned floating point engine. With support for PCIe 4.0, it supports most advanced motherboards, graphics, and storage technologies available.AMD today announced the new Ryzen 9 desktop processor with the flagship 12 core/24 thread Ryzen 9 3900X, 8 core Ryzen 7 models and 6 core Ryzen 5 models. These processors offer better or same performance when compared to competing Intel processors at half the price.
