How come your simple smile
can send my fatigue to an exile,
and light my days as bright stars do,
making me strong and no more blue.

Your expression states your happiness,
And even without anything to say,
Your stare dispel all my loneliness,
And I cannot keep you at bay.

And so passes the time,
And the moments through the days,
But I know I have you as mine,
Under my skin always.
