CitiOS: Facilitating Infrastructural Development through Blockchain Technology & Autonomous IoT Devices

The needs of human race are endless but whenever some of them are met, it could lead to a drastic change in the life of humans. The basic needs of human that anyone must not be deprived off are food, shelter and clothing but what about the Internet and electricity in this modern age. Do they have any direct impact in making lives easier for all humans globally? What about the health sector where many lose their lives just because of inadequate medical equipments and facilities and also human resources.

In order to combat underdevopments in many countries around the world, the United Nations (UN) came up with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) which is a development outline that governments especially in developing countries should focus on. But the sad reality is that, only few countries around the world have been able to meet up with these goals. However in all this, a blockchain platform named CitiOS is here to set off sustainable development goals in many cities across Africa. The project will provide structural health monitoring service and solar energy and many other things. With this project, there's a ray of hope for developing and underdeveloped countries globally because with CitiOS, there developments will be fast track and they will be able to compete with the developed nations.

The bedrock of modern day industrialization is electricity and without it, we won't be able to achieve more. CitiOS has done a great job by gathering data across Africa and what they got to reliazed is that Africa has the lowest penetration of electricity. The unavailability of constant power supply in many cities, towns and villages across Africa has broadened many issues facing the continent. These issues include job loss and joblessness due to folding up of companies, reduction in tourism and all these lead to stunted economic growth with direct impact on people's lives. But by making use alternative source of energy like solar energy which is also a very clean source of energy, CitiOS will be able to provide electricity to where it is needed when it which will have direct impact in such society.

As it is now, CitiOS is optimistic that with sufficient supply of electricity, there will be a lot of job opportunities which will reduce the rate of crimes. Sufficient supply of electricity will revive moribund industries, improve security by providing streetlights and increase the rate of tourism.

The reason why health care system is in a moribund conditions in many countries in Africa is because of the long term decays in global health sector. The need for structure health monitoring system which is one of CitiOS product is because of its ability to detect issues related to health care facilities and its ability to offer solutions to fix them within a short period of time.

CitiOS works on this process by making use of autonomous IoT devices in structural health monitoring and this will help in increasing the information-packed platform which compile and analyze data about the health care sector. Whenever it found fault in any health care facility, they will either be replace or repair and with this, many lives will be saved.
