Bitbond Token (BB1) is Germany's first security token and aims to make business loans accessible globally. Bitbond is the first crypto-based loan platform for business loans operating globally. Founded in 2013, Bitbond now facilitates more than $ 1 million in business loans every month.

Bitbond makes revenue by charging origination fees to borrowers and repayment fees to investors. The token publisher is Bitbond Finance GmbH, a company wholly owned by Bitbond GmbH. The token holder will receive 1% interest from the amount invested every quarter (4% per year). In addition, token holders receive variable coupons that are paid once a year. Quarterly and annual coupons continue for 10 years, at which point tokens reach maturity and are repurchased with a nominal value of € 1 per token.
