Fuchsia fulgens originates in Mexico, it has green leaves, more or less light, and hanging flowers, scarves, almost tubular, in bloom from July to October. Fuchsia magellanica comes from Peru and Chile and can even reach a height of 3 m. It has small oval leaves and flowers hanging with scarlet calyx and purple corolla. It is one of the few species that can withstand frost and therefore should not be taken to shelter in the winter.

Fuchsia Fulgens hanno origine in Messico, hanno foglie verdi, più o meno luminose, e fiori pendenti, quasi tubolari, che fioriscono da luglio a ottobre. Fuchsia Magellanica arriva dal Perù e dal Cile e può raggiungere anche un'altezza di 3 m. Ha piccole foglie ovali e fiori pendenti con calice scarlatto e corolla viola. È una delle poche specie in grado di resistere al gelo e quindi non dev’essere trapiantata per l’inverno.
