Legend about Gold Stone
This story happened many years ago back in 1149. On one of the 7.641 islands of the Philippines.
There was a young girl named Amihan. She was beautiful, and all the islands around her heard of her beauty. She was slim, strong and very intelligent, and the look of her huge brown eyes fascinated everyone she was looking at. The best warriors and merchants took care of her. But her heart already belonged to a neighbor boy named Jose. He was from a poor family and every day he went to the mine with a dream of finding gold. He was embarrassed that he was poor and could not decide to make an offer to his beloved Amihan ...
And then, one day, getting up early in the morning with the first roosters, Jose, as always, went to the cave, where he worked from dawn to dusk, but after a few minutes he ran to his Amihan to make an offer .... He ran into the house to Amihan squeezing in hand holding a small shiny stone.
- Amihan I Love you, I found gold and ask you to become my wife. A girl with tears rushed to his neck
-I have been waiting for this for so long -I also love you very much.
-Of course I will become your wife, but with one condition:
-We will never sell this stone .....
Many years have passed since then, Amihan and Jose created a family, built a large and comfortable house, raised children. And at one of the family holidays, in the evening when the whole family gathered in the hall to again hear the story of how the parents met, when the children and grandchildren sat in their seats and prepared to listen ... ... Amihan told the whole story about the stone. ..
Every morning, I saw in the rays of sunrise going to the Jose mine .. I was very painful to watch how he risks his life every day in search of Gold. We grew up together and from childhood I loved him ... I knew that he was afraid to make me an offer because he was poor. What could I do ?! - tears flowed from me, and suddenly I noticed how a tear flashed falling on a stone reflecting the light of the sun. Near the foot lay a stone. I wanted my heart to become this stone, so as not to feel ... and at that moment the stone prompted me the answer ...
It's just a stone ... I found it near the house and painted it with gold powder, and after night I took it to the mine where Jose worked. My condition was not to sell, because this stone does not cost anything .....
After hearing the story, Jose cried, hugged his wife, his children, grandchildren and whispered: - Thanks! You are my real gold and real treasure.
- I love you very much! Thank you for that!
- This stone is priceless, all the money in the world is not enough to appreciate what this stone gave me! This is priceless! He gave me - you are my family ... Tears of happiness flowed down the old man's cheeks. Finally, he understood everything .....
-A stone remained lying on a shelf. As a reminder of what is truly valuable .... what is in the heart of every person ...
Many years have passed since then .... many generations of their descendants dispersed to different countries and places, and perhaps they no longer remember this story, but the Legend of the Golden Stone continues to live in their hearts.
