O my dearly beloved

Who are my life

I have always loved you

And if love would have lasted longer

Your sun would have continued to shine

In my skies

To protect my eyes

Who are forever loyal to you

A hope has wandered away from me

Yet I cherish and treasure forgotten vows

My soul glows whenever I remember you

And ever since you journeyed on into eternity

I see you a spirit

Painted with love's rosy colors

The days have erased the fleeing, exiled hearts

And the clouds of sorrow dispersed and vanished

Into the waves of the sandy shores

How I wished to be someday the secret map

O my life, if giving up my soul

Would have added to your years

I would have gladly done so

They said you are gone

Not knowing your pure soul

And I continue to wish

that love had lasted longer
