Files.fm – cloud services for secure data storage and exchange ☁️

The Files.fm platform is a marketplace consisting of several services that are offered to customers of the system. The functionality of the services is aimed at storing, transferring, downloading files and data, their safe exchange between users. Platform clients can be both private individuals and organizations. Creating Files.fm developers intend to use all the benefits of P2P networks, working at the expense of the user community, thereby decentralizing the ecosystem. Thus, new opportunities are opened up to users, such as easy access to any free or paid Internet resource, receiving rewards for authoring works, as well as receiving rewards for preserving the digital heritage.

The project creators will use the technical base of their own existing cloud storage system, which they created in 2008, to develop the Files.fm platform. Insufficient data preservation for future generations

As a solution to these problems we see a creation of legal and free to use digital file library that provides the service for society where people can conveniently store, access, search and share useful content online with copyrights done right. Currently there is no large (capable of storing hundreds of petabytes) and free storage platform with specialized file search, sufficiently useful content and user-friendly interface. Also currently existing illegal file sharing networks, while widely used, are not only illegal, but also are not reliable regarding data preservation – files could get lost in these networks at any time with no ability to restore them

Conclusion

Files.fm Library will be created by joining the best technologies and practices from both centralized and decentralized worlds. FFL will use freemium business model: the base of the service will be available free of charge, while special premium features and services will be available for a fee. Our business model relies on advertisement revenue, as well as users monetizing their copyrighted files. Users will use FFL’s native cryptocurrency - FFL Tokens - for value exchange in the FFL system.
