DIGIPHARM: Creating Value-Based Healthcare system based on the Innovative pricing and Blockchain technology

Introduction
Health is not wealth for everyone. If it were true for everyone then many would care more about their health than their wealth. But, it is a fact which cannot be denied by anyone in the world. Our health is our greatest asset, and if it is in a good condition, the rest can be assured to fall in line. Many international organisations, like WHO work with countries and local governments to solve the impending health crisis. Technology can be helpful in solving many diseases but the amount of investment required is too much, and this puts a pressure on many developing countries, who are fighting with many diseases at the same time.

Health care system across the world have been very expensive for specialised diseases. And, the resources required for a new drug research are not easily available in many countries. The big pharma companies are busy selling drugs that are expensive to the consumers rather than generic drugs, that are affordable and efficient. Considering the example of Ebola, which is a serious medical condition, many countries have decided to invest in the research and development of drugs.

The research and the investment are continuously going on to find the cure for the deadly diseases. There is a need for new technology integration which will automate the value-based pricing and usage of real-world data.

About Digipharm
Digipharm wants to solve some real problems that are faced by the current healthcare system with the help of both private and public blockchain technology. The Digipharm ecosystem will have two platforms.

a) Reimburse

Reimburse will enable patients, health authorities and providers lower the risk. It also improves the patient outcomes through outcome-based pricing. The reimburse platform will be using smart contracts to enable the real-time pricing which will be based on the real-time application of personalized and performance between the payers and the manufacturers/suppliers. With the help of the Reimburse platform, the administrative cost will decrease significantly.

b) Insights

Data will be extracted from the Reimburse and then it will be formed into a repository. Insights are basically, the world first's live real-world evidence (RWE).

Future Projects
A) MyHealth

MyHealth platform will enable the healthcare providers and the payers to receive the detailed reports about the patient so that they can provide an incentive to the patients. The data collected on the MyHealth platform will enable the health insurance providers to differentiate between the lower and higher risk patients, so that, they can offer better services to those in the higher risk category.

B) Ensuring funds for future projects

One of the main goals for the future will be to ensure that there remain sufficient funds for research and development activities.

Initial Coin Offering
Digipharm aims to raise funds for medical innovation on the Evolve platform through crowdfunding and Initial Coin Offering. Digipharm hopes that the Evolve platform will prove to be a valuable addition for future fundraisings.

Digipharm Tokens, which are also shortly abbreviated as DPH will be sold in the ICO. These DPH tokens will be used throughout the platform. Payers and manufacturers will also be required to use these DPH tokens.

Token Characteristics
DPH tokens will be based on the ERC-20 blockchain platform and will be smart contracts. In the ICO, the total supply of DPH will be limited to 100,000,000. The ticker code for the DPH tokens will be DPH and it can be represented up to 18 decimals which is a good choice considering the fact once the price increases, doing small transactions will be easy. It will cost USD 1.00 for each DPH token.
