What is SKYFchain ?

SKYFchain is the first B2R (Business-to-Robots) blockchain based operating platform. This private blockchain system provides independent secure data-exchange and payment channels for a total support of robot - centric logistics. The SKYFChain Operating Platform will based on private blockhain. It will use ERC20 compatible protocol for SKYFT tokens and build payment channels for exchange transactions. SKYFchain is unique because it will be designed to exclude the human as an intermediary and it will have access to confirmed clients of the first industrial heavy duty cargo drone – the SKYF drone, which is already flying. Technically, the main purpose of the SKYFchain is to integrate critical information for all market participants and organize execution of smart-contracts for transactions. There are many technical problems that come along with the drone logistics too. The cost of the engine and its maintenance is too high especially with the good quality hybrid engines.

With the conception of the idea of SKYFchain in 2014, we worked towards getting $5 Million VC funding to design and manufacture the SKYF cargo drones. From 2014 till 2017 we successfully designed and tested the aerodynamics of the drone which gave out fully autonomous flights till the fourth quarter of 2017. In 2018 the SKYFchain project was conceived out of the SKYF drones project with an aim of creating a seamless integration in execution of the system. Blockchain research and development with the most suitable technology was done from the first quarter of 2018. With tight cooperation with all stake holders such as hardware producers, clients, authorities, banks, etc creation of international legal structure was done. The first sale of SKYF drone was done without strict regulation which helped in expansion to various other regions such as Africa, Asia and CIS. 2019 will see the launch of a franchise of drone logistics operator and licence for the third party drone producer. 2020 is looking forward to more growth and educational campaigns of drones ecosystem. Through expansion and networking 2021-22 will see an inclusion of third party drones in the platform and by 2023-25 SKYFchain looks forward to getting the unmanned logistics on ground and sea-borne cargo robots into the SKYFchain system.
