How to store ROBO-tokens?

Each trader knows that it is better not to store all assets on one deposit. It is better to have some ROBO on the exchange for trading and purchases in the terminal and transfer the rest to a more reliable place - for example, to the cold hardware wallet Ledger Nano S.

Ledger Nano S is suitable for storing tokens of the ERC-20 standard. The ROBO token has a unique smart contract based on Ethereum, therefore it is the token of ERC-20 standard. You can transfer tokens to your Ledger Nano S wallet through the MyEtherWallet service.

How to transfer ROBO-tokens in Ledger Nano S?

To transfer ROBO from the exchange deposit you need the ETH address of your Ledger Wallet Ethereum. Go to the MyEtherWallet website, select the "Send Ether & Tokens" section and click on the "Ledger Wallet" option to get the ETH address.

Now connect the hardware wallet to the computer and enter the activation PIN code in there. Open Ledger Wallet Ethereum on your device and check browser support. Go to the settings, select the "Browser Support" section and select "Yes". Click the Connect Ledger Wallet button on your computer.

As soon as the electronic wallet and the device are synchronized, you need to unlock the Ledger Nano S. In the new window select the path you need and click on “Unlock your wallet”.

Next the Ledger Wallet interface opens. On the left side, under the Account Address, you will see the ETH address of the wallet on the Ledger Nano S where you need to transfer ROBO tokens.

Click on «Display address on Ledger» and compare the address in the browser with the address in the Ledger Nano S. This way you protect your wallet from a man-in-the-middle attack.

To transfer tokens specify your ETH address as the address for withdrawing ROBO from the terminal or exchange. Check if the tokens have been transferred through the Tokens (Ethplorer.io) to the Ledger Wallet.

If the transaction is successful log out and disconnect Ledger Nano S. Now your ROBO will always be protected.
