Loyalty programs involve the accumulation of points. Such points often have a limited period of validity. Once expired, these points are not useful any longer.

It is supposed that companies will be able to initiate new or convert their existing campaigns into crypto-based reward & loyalty programs. If a customer not only purchases goods/services from a company/retailer but contributes to the brand awareness in the social media, then he/she turns into a marketing machine, a well-paid one, I must confess.

Why is Momentum Unique?

Though some skeptics may treat Momentum as a bit more advanced cashback service, actually it is far from being it. I personally do not know such a cashback program which pays me money back – real-world money, portable, rustling, payable money like dollars or euro. Momentum not only empowers companies to conduct their own branded tokenized (!) campaigns & demand generation strategies but also allows customers to earn and keep Momentum Tokens (as well as branded tokens) in their wallets and then exchange them either into other branded tokens or into other cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin or even into fiat money! Their private ICO is in progress, and you can join it if you want, but you need to be accepted for their whitelist first to participate in the token purchase. Attention, a minimal purchase during the pre-sale is 50K euro!

The token code is MMTM, its type is ERC-20 (Ethereum), total token supply is 1 billion MMTMs, tokens available for sale – 500 million, and the token price is approx. €0.10 (~0.12 USD/CHF). Bottom Line

Momentum is surely a much-desired project because it is the first to propose quite an easy way to earn cryptocurrency. A marketing automation platform, Momentum enables companies to start new or translate existing campaigns into crypto-based loyalty and reward programs where customers are compensated not only for their buying habits but for just loving a brand and showing that love in social networks! There will no longer be any wasted or expired points – with Momentum, customers can accumulate reward scores in their wallet and spend them in multiple ways including exchanging for any cryptocurrency or even fiat money.
