Petchains - Blockchain-based Community for Pet Owners

Petchains is a digital global pen-pet market information management and business platform. The platform uses blockchain technology and big data, which enable users to keep their own individual accounts. This technology also allow users to keep record of the animals either in their homes or shelters.

The main aim of this project is to bring up the community which is made up of the experts, professionals, institutions, academics, owners, service providers, dealers volunteers and other participants of the animal community, they can interact globally and contribute to provide the efficient lives to the pets.

Petchain seeks to solve the current problems of the Petchains industry, including:

1. Supervision Cost. The pet industry is increasing day by day but due to lack of communication, the treatment and supervision cost leads high.
2. Lack of Verified Information Sometimes the protectors are not able to receive the established information about the pets as it is difficult for the buyers to get the proper and appropriate information. In traditional method, the information can be tailored.
3. Lack of transparent information. There is a lack of information; hence it's inappropriate. Some pet owners have detailed information but in villages mostly pets doesn’t have any information. In that case, there should be proper information disbursement and should be convenient.
4. Lack of Proper Basic Needs Information. Petowner’s don’t have any proper knowledge about the basic necessities of their pets. They are unaware or have no guidance to what kind of food to be served to different kinds of pets.

The solution is relied on the modern and global technologies like big data and blockchain which allows the users to maintain a unique and to keep the data of both the animals who lives in the home or in the shelters. The project is fully dedicated to developing a new pet community on a digitised platform which includes modern, relevant and trending technologies allowing peer-to-peer connections to increase the reach of Petchains services in the global market.

How Petchains Works?

To begin with, a new user signs up on the platform with his or her key details such as name, email address, and gender.

Secondly, the new user becomes a member of the platform as soon as he/she completes the sign up process. The new user is free to subsequently log into his/her account with his/her ID and password.

Moreover, the new user can freely use the platform after login in with the requirements( ID and password). He/she can then contact the admin panel who will then connect him/her with the relevant experts he/she desires.

In addition, if queries or need of further direction may arise from the user,he/she can contact the platforms support which is available 24/7. Here, the problem will be solved immediately as it will be dealt with by the management and the technical team.

Finally, the platform does not require any specific skill or degree from the user, as he/she will notice several help sections to guide him/her through. The user will also notice different form attached to each section for him/her to facilitate easy connection with the professionals.

Petchains Features

The aim of the Petchain is to build a pet market platform based on the blockchain platform where authenticity of the service providers and practitioners' resources is provided. All the incentives for the construction of Petchain social platforms are rewarded, encouraging users to participate more actively in community building in addition to information identification, the chain will give PTCS rewards for any speeches, likes and other activities that users perform in the community. The animal information will include all the imperative data of pets (education, awards, training, pedigree, clinical history, diseases, achievements, allergies diseases) so that it can be used in case of loosing the pet.

Petcoin (PTCS) is ERC20 coin standard. It is the unit of exchange used in exchange of assets and advice among other active participants in the platform.

It may also be spent so as to get special discounts for the products on the platform.

It is also used to purchase various services on the platform.
