An exemplary auto is a more seasoned car; the correct definition changes the world over. The normal topic is of a more established auto with enough chronicled enthusiasm to be collectible and worth saving or reestablishing instead of rejecting.

Autos 20 years and more established ordinarily fall into the exemplary class.

Associations, for example, the Classic Car Club of America (CCCA) and the Antique Automobile Club of America (AACA) keep up a rundown of qualified unmodified autos that are designated "exemplary". These are depicted as "fine" or "unmistakable" car, either American or outside constructed, delivered between 1915– 1998

In the UK, 'exemplary autos' range from a veteran (pre– First World War), to vintage (1919– 1930), to post-vintage (the 1930s).

Post– Second World War "exemplary autos" are not absolutely characterized and the term is frequently connected to any more established vehicle.
