243 fires recorded in less than two weeks – Fire Service

Between Christmas Eve last year and the first weekend in 2020, the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) has recorded 243 fires across the nation. We are currently in the Harmattan season where the weather is dry and the air is dry. The Public Relations Officer of the GNFS has cautioned the public to desist from starting open flames.
