70% of rural girls bath once during menses as tradition bars them from fetching water

Plan International Ghana, an NGO working in Ghana has done a research and has come out with some shocking findings. According to the research, about 70% of girls, especially teenagers in rural areas across Ghana bath only once during their menstrual cycle.
