ECO Currency: West Africa sub-region is creating a 'monster' - Lecturer

The whole of Europe uses one currency called Euro.  For years, West African countries have been discussing about the need to use one currency, and plans are underway for countries to start using this currency in 2020. The currency is called Eco. A lecturer has told West African leaders to be weary of a single currency comparing it to what the Euro did to the economies of Greece, Romania and Bulgaria.
