Only 12.5 percent of workers pay SSNIT

Ms Mimi Anane-Appiah the Financial Planner of Axis Pension Trust, has said that out of the 12million working Ghanaians, only 12.5% pay their social security. This means, a great number of people will be in trouble when they go on retirement. She said majority of gbe 12.5% were men as most women were in fhe informal sector and they fail to plan for retirement.
