Be Humble and Ready To Help; Nothing Last Forever
We lived together during our undergraduate days, I was feeding him since his parents were poor. My family didn't mind since we were good friends and he respected me. He had a key to my room and we were close. After our Youth service, I traveled to America to study more since my parents have the funds.
When I arrived Abroad, he started sending me messages and letters. I was telling him how fun America was and he was telling me how bad Nigeria was. I understood how difficult it could be to survive in Nigeria. I thought to myself, it's better I severe my relationship with this poor guy, before he started asking me to bring him to America to come stay with me. I thought to myself, "Haven't I done enough in his life?" I fed him during school days and all. I guess I should let him go and sought out himself.

So after all, I stopped calling him and block all access to having him contact me. Soon I heard he became a P.A (Personal Assistant) to a medical doctor, well that is goo for him. I felt being a P.A was a good thing for him since he was in Nigeria. Soon, the medical doctor became a Governor and sponsored him to the State House of Representative. Soon, this friend of mine became the speaker of the house and then became a governor while I was struggling Abroad, then it dawned on me that i had missed it, a friend God gave me to assist and yet I stopped. We would have been holding political position together since he respected me so well
Who you are helping today? Who can say, the one you are helping may be the one to help you or your children in future directly or indirectly.
