Just Winding Some Thoughts Done At Days End

Glad to have gotten through today. It always feels like a shift. In the right direction. There's just so much brutal stuff in the news and have been watching documentaries. At the same time getting out in the warmer weather for walks. So yea just like I thought all the rich companies and gov't's are buying up everything on the cheap. Heard Chompsky talk about how 10 trillion dollars are going to the top 1% because of corona bailout packages. In Canada here they are getting rid of environmental regulations in the name of oil and gas and resource extraction.

Saw a documentary on what happened in Eastern Canada to First Nations people in regards to industrial mining, dumping and pulp and paper mills. Then think back to the shut down of Canada because of what's going on in Northern BC from oil companies intruding on Unceded First Nations territory. It all comes together. Now I can really get people when they say stupid stuff about oil and gas and the land defenders shutting down infrastructure to raise awareness. Interesting this stuff is even hitting Netflix.

Just saw the documentary Cowspiracy. It was really good and insightful too. Took on the fact that environmental organizations tend to shy away from speaking out against the animal agriculture industry even though it's #1 in causing pollution and deforestation/desertification. It's interesting to see all these problems coming together and perhaps some amazing simple solutions down the road. It will require a mass shift! Haha I always laugh and think the world may end up getting most of its protein from eating bugs.

There's allot more and more on my mind. It all seems to be coming together like I could tell some real good stories out of it. That's where I'm heading in the music/lyric writing, I'm getting some more ideas together. Even typing this little bit out helps. Now I'm tired so will go to bed. I'm hoping I can accomplish much tomorrow.
