State registers on blockchain with OneLedger

A lot of countries still use some paper state registers and all digital registers are totally centralized. This causes difficulties for society. Citizens do not have free and easy access even for their own data. There is a huge lack of transparency if we talking about some distribution of property between citizens. The government says that everything is honest but how can we really know if could not check in person?

Let me give you some examples from my own experience. Example one is about digital centralized register of land. The government promised to give each citizen a piece of land for free due to region of registration. However, when an average citizen applies to the relevant authority apparently no good or even medium plot of land is accessible. People were told then all good plots are already taken and there was no way to check by whom or even is it true. Much of the good ones where reserved by officials and sold.
Second example is about paper state registers of land and registers of current criminal cases. Buildings where these registers where located burned several times. A lot of people were forced to undergo a complex procedure for restoring rights for several years (I am talking about registers of land). And many criminal were not brought to trial.
Nothing of these would have been possible if we had used decentralized state registers on blockchain.

But how to make it real?
OneLedger give us a good answer by its powerful technologies. According to the whitepaper businesses can leverage the platform to create both public and private blockchains. So why don’t state organizations do the same?
