The AIoT street light will promote public security by offering surveillance functionality through its incorporated edge Al cameara. The AI camera will be able to detect activities such as reckless driving, accidents, burglar and report them to the appropriate authority by leveraging the p2p data exchange of the Internet of things (IoT) sensor networks to share and exchange signals. Citios also proposes an health management device called Structural health monitoring (SHM), this will help prevent natural disasters by using sensor networks to gather information on climatic changes as well as provide a cost-effective means of determining the usability status of aged and natural disaster's affected infrastructures.
