The more i get to know our customers the more the reveal how rich they are. At first glance some of them look like hobos and thugs. But talking to them more about their bikes and what they do, bling bling wow. I guess you gotta be ballin to pay $700 for a helmet, $400 a jacket, $400 pair of pants, $100 pair of glove, $300 pair of shoes, $500 blue tooth speaker system. Then they get parts for their bike like $400 pair of Wheels, and all the little things like break pads, mirrors, and accessories. Then I step out and check out the bikes. Nobody rides stock. Everyone has some modified super charged monster rim beast to carve the roads. 20K, 30K, 40, 70, 100K, in the bikes. At first glance, i am impressed by their bikes. But then they tell me what they added or changed and how much and I hardly believe it. To them it is not bragging of riches, their bike is an artistic representation of who they are inside. Like a tattoo that travels. Their bike is not a store of value like a coin. It is more priceless because the value represents expression, mobility, and connection to others with similar interests. They are bag holders of style.
Biker rich is a different rich. I met traders, doctors, famous, entrepreneurs, and so on. But bikers are low key look you in the eye breathe and take it slow. Maybe it has something to do with riding the roads and javing to be extra safe. Maybe it has something to with how happy a bike makes them. Maybe they're just good people. They do all different things and lets just say, while blockchain is a great way to make money, the world offers many ways to make a living. These people have found that passive income lifestyle so they can enjoy living. Business owners, doctors, preachers, all of them bling bling wow when i when i bring up steem and ask about investment advice. I showed them @steemit today and told them it pays me. When i showed them how much i made, they laughed. A humbling experience, but they were kind afterwards. One guy even offered me a job but its too far for me to commute. Thats ok. I still took pictures of their beautiful bikes to share here.
I am thankful for the wage I make each day to help these people enjoy their life. I am thankful for my efforts to appreciate others face to face, for listening and practicing humility. Working harder to recieve the material wealth to allow me more time with family. Appreciate learning new skills and reawaken hidden talents as well as balancing time with passions like improv, pages, and golf. Allowing myself more inner bling bling love to give and receive. And care not for the distractions of jealousy, hubris, and the vice of over doing it. I am thankful for the super rich inside us all that bling bling wow this life each day.
