VSYS Blockchain Development

In this weekly report (4th Week of September 2019): V SYSTEMS and X-VPN co-launched Tachyon, a decentralized internet protocol built on the VSYS blockchain. SesameOpen announced partnership with V SYSTEMS to drive Commerce 3.0. Please read the full report below.

1. VSYS Blockchain Development

Mainnet Development

VSYS ver 0.2.2 has been released, which includes refactoring and cleaning up unused code, updating API with new functions and switch to the latest version of Swagger. The details can be found athttps://github.com/virtualeconomy/v-systems/releases/tag/v0.2.2The V-Cloud Token service is currently in development, providing organisations with an extremely easy way of integrating with the VSYS Blockchain. Token issuer who wish to quickly and easily set up a token with pre-built applications can do so using this service.

Smart Contract Development

The initial version of smart contracts starting from the 6,100,000th block include some basic level functions that will allow users to create their own tokens and define its uses. Research is currently being conducted for new smart contract features, once discussions and research has been properly drawn conclusions, new features will be announced in the near future.A tool for easy smart contract deployment is currently being developed for public usage.

Wallet Development

The web wallet and mobile wallet app recently got updated to allow users to easily create their own tokens, they are now currently being refactored to improve user friendliness of existing and new functions.

2. Global Community Updates

V SYSTEMS and X-VPN Co-Launch the First Project in the VSYS Ecosystem

The first application to be built in the VSYS ecosystem is coming! VSYS Community Meetup by HelloVSYS

Our supernode HelloVSYS hosted a community meetup in Shenzhen, China on 21 September to give an introduction on V SYSTEMS and explain the benefits of the VSYS platform along with its great potential at staking and DApp development. Our friends at HelloVSYS lined up an impressive roster of speakers including top EOS block producer and blockchain veterans.
