Short Story: "Me and The Autumn"

"Autumn lights cast pale shadows on the sidewalk. I walk around the city with a good sense of peace, devoided from the summer hustle inside me. The softness of the glittering rays of the sun reflected in the clear walls of the houses does not stop me from seeing the beauty of life, blinding me with a strong and vile clarity. I do not cover my eyes with shades, I do not hide so I can see what surrounds me. I free myself as everyone retreats to the hibernations in the hiding places of the approaching winter. I just and normally find myself."

"Luzes de outono projetam sombras pálidas na calçada. Ando pela cidade com uma sensação boa de paz, desprovido do burnurinho do verão dentro de mim. A suavidade dos raios fulgurantes do sol refletida nos muros claros das casas não me impedem de enxergar a beleza da vida, cegando-me com uma claridade forte e vilã. Não tampo meus olhos com óculos escuros, não me escondo para poder ver o que me cerca. Liberto-me enquanto todos se recolhem para as hibernações nos esconderijos do inverno que se aproxima. Eu me encontro."
