A few days ago, I wrote about a decentralised exchange. This is the exchange of cryptocurrencies, where buyers and sellers link directly without the middle. In traditional businesses, the middleman adds additional costs of doing business. With decentralised marketplace, the buyer and seller of goods connect directly. They arrange modalities including transportation of the goods on their own.

The moderators ensure that enough details have been put on a product to make it specific and differentiated. If products are listed with full details, buyers can easily identify the exact products they want.

Another service that is offered is conciliation. At times the users choose their own conciliators. These are individuals that help to solve the problems that arise. Most decentralised stores, I have worked with are very good. For example, they allow you to buy from people closest to you. This reduces transportation fees.

The other outstanding feature of decentralised marketplaces over the centralised ones is the ability for income redistribution through the use of their internal tokens ( cryptocurrency). For every transaction or activity you do on the platform, you get paid in internal currency. The token gives you some rights to make certain decisions. At a certain stage, you can sell the tokens and get cash.
