AT GOD'S APPOINTED TIME
Philippians 1:6
I am sure that God who began the good work within you will keep right on helping you grow in His grace until His task within you is finally finished on that day when Jesus Christ returns.

REFLECTIONS
1. Just as it takes years for us to grow from childhood to adulthood, it takes a whole season for fruit to mature and ripen... when we try to ripen fruit quickly, it loses its flavor or quality. The same is true for the fruit of the Spirit.

2. The development of Christlike character can't be rushed, Spiritual growth like physical growth takes time.

3. While we worry about how fast we grow, God is concerned about how strong we grow. God views our lives from and for eternity so He is never in a hurry.

Christ-likeness is our eventual destination but this our journey will take a life time. God is working within us so that we may get to our final destination... At God's appointed time, He will surely complete what He has begun within us.
