MOZO - The Token of Discovery

MOZO project is a project that runs in the retail business covering an ecommerce area where mozo project offers solutions for retailers to easily locate and market their products at physical stores or online promotions, online promotion offered by mojo project is very simple but has an impact which is very large for retail entrepreneurs where in the promotion of mojo projects retail entrepreneurs can easily promote their products or stores to prospective buyers by giving some tokens or tokens to buyers or visitors, this idea does sound very alien and impossible but with a promotion like this the retail business actor will easily attract customers who are visiting the shopping area or in the area where the promotion is done. Initially, Project Mozo will use the Ethereum blockchain network to support our transactions, and then switch to Solo when it becomes available. Our proprietary technology Solo is a new DAG type blockchain network that is designed to support peer-to-peer micropayment transactions (Retail, IoT, Microlending, Cybersecurity etc.). In the Solo blockchain network, each transaction initiated by a sending user is approved by the destination user and only the destination user itself, hence the name Solo.


Mozo works by using a “smart contract” which is tied to retail activities. This smart contract is established between the retailer’s smartphone or IoT device (such as a Beacon) and the consumer’s smartphone as they detect each other’s device. The consumer’s smartphone and retailer’s smartphone can accept and process a transaction under consumer’s command. In other words, the Mozo contract is a user-generated transaction that transfers control commands between user-device, user-user, or user-system. Hence, we create a smart contract where the object of the smart contract is to process the transaction on the blockchain network. Before using Mozo, users and devices must first be registered with the Mozo System and the blockchain network through authentication procedures. In case the device (such as a Beacon or Sticker) is difficult to be registered by itself, the administrator must then first identify the unique ID (UUID) of the device and register that device. After that, the retailer’s salesperson must associate the device with the product that the retailer wishes to sell. The method to identify the device in case of Beacon or Sticker is to use a Bluetooth scanner, which will return the unique ID of the device. However, if this is not the case, the tool should hash the unique response information so that the device can be automatically disconnected from the blockchain network and reported to the administrator whenever it has been tampered with. This is to protect the retailer’s and consumer’s interests. Mozo provides retailers and venue operators the ability to control and increase their foot traffic. By issuing Mozo Tokens as a reward for visiting, browsing (discovery), and purchasing, customers are incentivized to go where you direct them. Customers can accumulate Mozo Tokens and redeem them for deals, discounts, and promotions. Mozo Tokens are utility tokens operating on the Ethereum blockchain. This denotes value beyond Mozo’s reward application, permitting Mozo Tokens to be bought and traded on select coin exchanges.

A sensor beacon is an unobtrusive device that enables interaction and conversation with other devices, such as mobile phones. Our beacons utilize our world leading IPS (indoor positioning system) technology to interact with customers using our Mozo app. When customers visit a retail venue they can be rewarded with Mozo Tokens. When these customer discover items attached with one of our beacons, product details and information populates on their phone in addition to any rewards issued by the venue. These beacons allow customers to interact with stores and venues in a whole new way, allowing venues to increase foot traffic and control how they want customers to interact with their venue, products and services.

The worldwide loyalty market, estimated to be US$ 300 Billion, makes the opportunity presented by this technology even more interesting.

Digital Consumers

In Asia alone, McKinsey predicted that by 2020 there will be approximately 1.7 billion consumers using digital banking. Even more so than in Western countries, Asian consumers are highly motivated by promotions, discounts, vouchers, and the like. This will be opening up the possibility that Project Mozo will have a significant impact first on the Asia-Pacific retail market.

Foot Traffic

The addressable market related to annual foot traffic encompasses 2.6 trillion walk-in customers visiting 91 million physical stores globally, making average annual foot-traffic of 28,000 per store. A 30% distribution of the above figures for the Asia Pacific region means 800 billion annual foot traffic and 27 million physical stores directly addressable by Project Mozo. Already, 38,000 physical stores have committed to using Mozo technology, i.e. we have just achieved a fraction of this addressable market.


Mozo Token is an ERC-20 utility token, operating on the Ethereum Blockchain network. Mozo Tokens will be used by stores and venue operators to reward customers who in turn will collect and redeem them for deals, discounts, and products. There will be a total supply cap of 5 billion Mozo Tokens, without any further issuance or creation of Mozo Tokens in the future. The first application of the Mozo Token is the basis for a solution based on Mozo rewards, for shopping malls that increase and control the movement of visitors. The Mozo Tokens can be used as a reward and then redeemed from any participating retailer on the Mozo network. Apart from this purpose, Mozo Tokens can also be exchanged as gifts or bought and sold through the selected exchange platform.

Consumers can earn, buy, and redeem Mozo tokens by: walking into a physical store; “zapping” to discover product details; or purchasing products at the store. The use of dynamic Mozo tokens will make it easier for users to get discounted prices, promotional prices or get free mozo tokens, users can also easily purchase Mozo tokens via exchange sites or exchange with ETH on the Mozo platform this is can be done so that every user of Mozo token or Mozo platform can enjoy the convenience of shopping and enjoy any kind of promotion inside.
