ETC Labs Builds Internetwork Interoperability Solution
The Ethereum Classic development team called ETC Labs has announced a partnership with the Metronome project to develop the Ethereum and Ethereum Classic interoperability solutions.
According to the blog developers, with blockchain compatibility, assets can be directly transferred from one network to another. In this case, a solution is being developed that will allow the transfer of Metronome (MET) tokens between the ETH and ETC blockchains.
According to the ad, MET is the first cryptocurrency with internetwork compatibility. The Metronome website also describes future plans for the project:
“Being the first cryptocurrency that can be exported and imported across different networks, Metronome will initially be transferred between Ethereum and Ethereum Classic. In the future, support is expected for Rootstock platforms on the Bitcoin and Qtum blockchain. This portability will allow users to choose a chain that meets their management and security requirements, or even update the MET contract if necessary. ”
Another aspect of the partnership is that ETC Labs will support the Metronome Validator Network, which consists of five or more decentralized offline network validators that validate Metronome transactions. Thus, this network will ensure the reliability and security of Metronome transactions and less likelihood of carrying out attacks of double spending.
The Metronome project was first introduced by Jeff Garzik in 2017, and last year the project raised $ 12 million to the ICO in less than a week. In October 2017, Garzik announced Metronome:
“This is essentially the best cryptocurrency in the world, a“ freight train ”that can“ ride ”on any compatible blockchain.”
