Callum Hudson-Odoi, Toni Rudiger and Willian fitness update
One of the main reasons I am happy right now is the fact that Frank Lampard team fought till extra time against Liverpool as to against Man Utd which was completely a one sided match. I saw the team in a new dimension against Liverpool, it was as if it wasn't the same team who played Man Utd. I am also glad we put the loss behind us, gave a fantastic show and ready for any challenge for the rest of the season.
When asked about players fitness, Frank Lampard has good news regarding the fitness of Callum Hudson-Odoi, Toni Rudiger and Willian...
In the other news, Antonio Rudiger, Williams are in training and in contention for this weekend game.
I can't wait watch my team this weekend. I want see the full squad in play, I am sure of a good win, good game and the fact that going forward we will have something to build on during the season.
The most important thing is Hudson is in training with the under 20 team with several light training session already done and no complications recorded.
The boss give information on the likes James, Rudiger, William in his press conference this evening:
'It’s good news for us. It’s slightly gone amiss with the transfer ban and the obsession with young players, but we are missing six players from the squad, including Reece James, big players. As they are coming back it’s going to make us stronger.' Am expecting James, who starred at Wigan last season, to be back in two or three weeks having suffered an ankle injury on international duty over the summer.
