Looking to Lightning (Plays)

Now that things have slowly started to take shape, I might now be able to look at doing outstanding "Lightning Plays" on the small list of games I accumulated ages ago... I've mostly stopped accepting any additions to that list because it would just add to the backlog, plus if anything is time-critical, that reduces my chance at being able to do a first look on it. I do want to get into the sort of system where I've always got 2-3 games in the waitlist, in order to keep the series consistently going, as well as giving myself a small buffer to work with, in case I end up running out of games to evaluate, though, for consistency purposes, I'd be keeping that schedule internally (and using it for other work instead), even if I have no games on the list, which would essentially mean that if I've published a vid for game 2/3, and nothing new has arrived, I'd have to give notice that the video I'm about to work on will be the last game in the series before it goes on a break.

Though thinking about it more, I think that I should probably have 2-4 games in the task list, and have the above happen at 2 games, as it means that I have a buffer that allows additional games to come in (whether that's via review key or backing it, or purchasing it in Early Access) before I make that call. I'm just hashing ideas out on the fly right now, so I'll come up with something more coherent later, as I really need to look at how I want to tackle such things moving forward!

That said though, if any developers would be interested in me evaluating their game in the relatively near future, drop me a line, because I am at least open to discussion on doing so, as I'm looking at the networking portion at present, in terms of getting to know indie devs (as well as PR reps from larger developers), so I at least have open communication when the time comes to doing my Lightning Plays stuff, or even arranging other stuff, such as interviews or other features for Gamed Up that I've not yet thought of!
