Project Overview

Agricultural transactions have always involved intermediaries due to the distance between the agricultural lands where produces are cultivated, agricultural equipment suppliers, and potential customers. BITAGRO with its AgroCoin simplifies the transaction between all involved core parties by removing intermediaries between them. Each order and the price associated with it can thus be measured and planned more easily and the transaction will be beneficial for all involved parties.

How does the system work?

After you as a participant register on BITAGRO, you will gain access to all available suppliers and buyers of agricultural products in your area. All products on the platform are classified and valued using AgroCoin. Therefore, in order to perform transactions, you need to buy AgroCoin at the AgroExachange. After you identify a seller with a product that is in accordance with the price and quality that you have specified, you can initiate the transaction by starting a Smart Contract with the seller. The platform will then arrange the transaction and contact the logistic partners to inform them about the transaction and to arrange delivery. The asset will remain locked in the escrow until the transaction concludes, i.e. the buyer gets the product they buy.
