As ownership of cars increases, and parking spaces reduces, parking of cars continues to cause major problems both in developed and developing countries especially their urban areas. Many urban centres are having problems with lack of parking space owing to the imbalance in parking space demands and supply gap. This is as a result of scarcity of lands or lack of city planning. Parking problems results due to traffic congestion, scarce parking space and high parking tariffs.
Many approaches have been applied - yet still unsuccessful. Today, modern technologies are trying to introduce newer and effective solutions to solve this problem. WHY PARQ

PARQ is an invention of parksen parking, been in operation in Netherlands since 2015 with an already functional parking app. Parksen have been in the business of tackling traffic congestion and ineffective use of parking space in densely populated city centres using Internet of things(IOT) devices which are currently affordable and effective. With lots of experiences in making Netherlands' cities' transport and parking sector more digital, parksen is trying to go global. PARKSEN PARKING APP
Running entirely on the cloud, parksen parking app allows users to efficiently navigate across cities by locating and reserving parking spaces. The app is connected to garages and municipalities through APIs, these APIs helps in giving real-time of traffic situations around them.
With the aid of information relayed by the app, users can make analysis and decide for themselves the best route and localities to ply in order to beat traffic and save time and gas.

The PARQ token is the platform's native token which will be used for utility purposes in the PARQ ecosystem. PARQ is an erc20 token built on the ethereum blockchain with a maximum supply of 1 billion.
