SONM and Boosteroid. Fight?

In the market of cloud computing in recent years, new names have appeared.

At first glance, it is not clear what their advantages, benefits and differences are. 

Today we will consider two projects of "cloud" computers on the blockroom, and try to find their differences and benefits. 

What is each project? SONM is a global operating system, a decentralized computer for foggy computing that has the potential to include any computing power.

 BOOSTEROID - a platform of cloud services, providing easy access to computing resources, storage and software products. "Our service will allow us to abandon expensive personal computers in favor of a powerful computing" cloud "with a friendly interface and simple control," the creators present the system. A personal computer in the "cloud" will be able to solve a variety of tasks - from working with texts to analyzing DNA. 

The technical implementation of the BOOSTEROID project consists of two parts: hardware and software. Hardware will consist of many heterogeneous computing resources, combined into a single high-speed infrastructure, one node will be: 8 NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti; 2 processors Intel Xeon E5 2680v4; RAM 256Gb; SSD 960Gb. SONM - will be implemented using SOSNA - operating system. 

What is main differences? 

Unlike other similar services, BOOSTEROID emphasizes the ease of operation, without long registrations and training videos, just a few "clicks". It's enough to download the application to your device, select the necessary power and pay for the rental time. 

In SONM, they promise that users will have the opportunity to lease their own computer facilities. But the principle of such a "rental" system is not yet fully understood and transparent. And what do you think about these projects?
