"Monaco" in its official "Twitter" announced the resignation of the club head coach Leonard Jardim from the club.
The Portuguese specialist has been in charge of Monegasques since 2014. Under his leadership, the team won the French title in the season 2016/17. In that campaign, Monaco managed to reach the semi-finals of the Champions League, where he failed to defeat Juventus from Turin. In the same season, Jardim was recognized as the best coach of the French League 1.
“Monaco” after nine rounds of the current season is located in the relegation zone, occupying only 18th place in the League 1 tournament table. The team won six times and scored three times in a draw.
Last summer, the Monaco squad joined the Russian midfielder Alexander Golovin.
