There is also an English speaking tag "en". If you put the "en" tag first others will vote for you more often I think.

Yes the Golos are very cheap at the moment so I bought my way to almost beeing a whale.

I will try to answer your questions to the best of my knowledge.

1. Voting power limited: You can check your voting power here http://golosd.com/@mithrilweed Start to vote as early as you want on a post, the earlier the better. The first one get the most reward.
2. Pay out: 24 hours and 30 days. My advice is to power up to Golos Power, the interest is heavy!
   When I did understand the interest I went to Bittrex.com and bought Golos.
3. Yes of course, this is blockchain, your work is your work. They are very hard on copy/paste of others work. DO NOT DO THAT! From what I have seen here so far, that is the only thing they downvote. Be nice and they treat you well.

Hi @karenb54 You can not "drag and drop" like you can on Steemit now. You have to paste a valid "internet address" to the picture in the text where you want it. So remember to look at the "Preview" if the picture is actually there.
